Arabs Want Iranian Strike

Citing classified diplomatic cables released by the controversial WikiLeaks, The New York Times said that in 2008, the Saudi ambassador to the US conveyed to the Americans that Saudi King Abdullah had made “frequent exhortations to the U.S. to attack Iran.”The American newspaper also quoted King Abdullah as asking the US to “cut off the head of the snake.” In 2006, the defense chief of the United Arab Emirates said military option wasn’t necessarily the first option, but noted the Iranians had to “be dealt with.” Bahrain also hinted at the need to keep the military option on the table.
