It was found that Debrase reduced the number of patients requiring the surgical removal of burned tissue, as well as those requiring skin transplant surgery over the burned area. Compared with current treatments, it also shortened treatment time in healing the burned tissue and reduced blood loss involved in the removal of the burned tissue, according to ISRAEL21c.
