Chariot Linchpin Identified

At that time, Oren Cohen of the University of Haifa could not find a parallel in any other discoveries. However, this year, while scrutinizing some ancient Egyptian reliefs depicting chariot battles, he noticed a unique decoration: bronze linchpins that held chariot wheels in place, decorated with people's faces. He also noted that these linchpins were used by distinguished people. Since Judges 4:13 tells us that Sisera’s army had 900 chariots, this find lends support to the biblical text and the possible location of Sisera’s hometown.
