A Palestinian vegetable truck and school bus got stuck in mud and rocks [some 35 kilometers, or 22 miles, north of the Dead Sea], and both Israeli and Palestinian forces were called to the scene to rescue stranded people and clear the road.
An IDF engineering officer said: “There has always been cooperation between us and Palestinian rescue forces. Palestinian forces are always called to the scene when there are Palestinians involved in a particular event.”
