32 Million Jews Today If Not for Holocaust

Professor Sergio DellaPergola said that not only did the Holocaust kill millions, it also resulted in devastating demographic damages, including the loss of cultural frameworks, a higher number of male victims resulting in decreased fertility, a rise in intermarriage and the murder of many children. Today, the Jewish population is older and less fertile than before the Holocaust. “The Holocaust struck a deep blow to the demographic, cultural and social fabric of the Jewish people in many ways and with long-range consequences,” said DellaPergola.
