There will not be a Zealous Israel Project in 2026-2027.

STEP 1: GOD’S INVITATION
You are invited to apply for the Zealous Israel Project (ZProject), to join a movement of young people who will encounter God in His Land through compassion, adventure and revelation.
- To be eligible for the ZProject, you must be a Christian, be 18–30 years old, and you must be interested in serving the Jewish people in Israel.
- The cost of the ZProject in 2025–2026 was US$7,995. Payment of this cost covers housing, food budget, transportation in Jerusalem, educational materials and monthly excursions. This does not include airfare, insurance and personal expenses (i.e. clothes, personal items, eating out and entertainment). This cost is subject to change in future years.
- Up to 10 people are accepted every year for the ZProject. All ZProject members live in shared single-sex apartments.
- All ZProject members volunteer full-time at either our International Headquarters (HQ) or our Jerusalem Assistance Center (JAC). Hours are Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- ZProject members also attend community growth sessions once a week after hours, which include studies, teaching, worship, prayer and training. Weekly Scripture discussion and memory also are an important part of community growth. A highlight of the ZProject are our monthly excursions, which are taken over some weekends, allowing us to travel around Israel and experience the land.

STEP 2: REQUEST AN APPLICATION ONLINE (typically in October - December before the ZProject year begins)
- Once you have prayed, received God’s invitation and understood the details of the ZProject, you are welcome to request an application.
- Request a ZProject application by filling out the Request an Application form below.
- Your national office will email you a ZProject application.
STEP 3: SUBMIT APPLICATION
Complete the application form in its entirety and submit it to your national office on or before the application deadline: typically the end of March for the year you are applying to join.
- Submit all supporting documents with your application.
- A scan of your Social Security card (US applicants only)
- A scan of your passport photo page
- A passport-style photo of yourself
- A criminal record check/police clearance check
- A medical examination report
STEP 4: DECISION
You will be notified of the outcome of your application by the beginning of May of the same year.
STEP 5: START VISA PROCESS
Once you have been accepted to the Zealous Israel Project, the staff development department in Jerusalem will begin processing your visa. At this time, payment of the US$500 nonrefundable deposit is due to your national office.
STEP 6: RECEIVE JOB PLACEMENT
Staff development will notify you of your job placement by the end of May.
STEP 7: PRE-DEPARTURE ORIENTATION
You are required to attend an online orientation session at the end of May/early June.

STEP 8: VISA APPROVAL
We will notify you of your visa’s approval when Israel’s Ministry of Interior gives us confirmation.
STEP 9: FLIGHT PURCHASE
Once your visa has been approved, you are ready to purchase your plane ticket.
STEP 10: DEPARTURE
Congratulations on completing steps 1–8! You will begin your time in Israel with the Call to Zion tour in the summer, around the end of July or early August.
