Running for Shelter in Israel

Bridges for Peace CEO and International President, Rebecca Brimmer talks about her recent experience of running to a bomb shelter after rockets were fired at Jerusalem on the night of, Tuesday the 8th of July, 2014. In Jerusalem we have 105 seconds to get into a shelter. 3.5 million people have to run to shelters at the frequent blare of Red Alert sirens. Some places only have 15 seconds to get to a safe place. Consider for a moment what life would be like for you and your family living under constant threat of missile attack with only 15 seconds standing between life and death.
