Israel Offers Proof that Iran Arms Hezbollah through “Civilian Channels”

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Port of Beirut has become the Port of Hezbollah (illustrative).

Wednesday, 24 July 2019 | Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations [UN] on Tuesday said the country has new intelligence information proving that Iran, with the help of Syrian officials, supplies weapons and equipment to the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah by exploiting “civilian channels.”

Speaking at a Security Council meeting dedicated solely to the situation in the Middle East, Danny Danon said Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guards unit uses the Port of Beirut to smuggle “the dual-use equipment” to the terror group with full knowledge of Lebanese authorities.

“In the years 2018 and 2019, Israel found that Iran and the Quds Force have begun to advance the exploitation of the civilian maritime channels, and specifically the Port of Beirut… which has become the Port of Hezbollah,” said the ambassador.

Danon went on to accuse the Syrian officials of cooperating with the Iranians in order to advance Hezbollah’s military capabilities.

“These dual-use items are smuggled into Lebanon to advance Hezbollah’s rocket and missile capabilities and conversion program to be used. Under the guise of Syrian entities, such as the Syrian Scientific Studies and Research Center (CERS).”

If the information proves to be accurate it would violate Resolution 1701 approved after the 2006 Second Lebanon War which, among other things, calls for disarmament of all armed groups in Lebanon.

Mideast Tensions Soar as US Downs Iranian Drone, Iran Seizes Tankers

by Joshua Spurlock

Iran seized the British tanker Stena Impero in the Strait of Hormuz.

Monday, 22 July 2019 | Tensions between Iran and the international community escalated last week as an Iranian drone was shot down after threatening an American warship and multiple civilian foreign ships were seized by Iran, including one belonging to the United Kingdom [UK]. The drone incident occurred on Thursday, with United States President Donald Trump announcing that a US Navy amphibious assault ship took “defensive action” against an incoming Iranian drone that ignored calls and was “threatening the safety of the ship and the ship’s crew.”

Said Trump on Thursday in comments posted to the White House website, “This is the latest of many provocative and hostile actions by Iran against vessels operating in international waters. The United States reserves the right to defend our personnel, our facilities and interests and calls upon all nations to condemn Iran’s attempts to disrupt freedom of navigation and global commerce.”

That same day, a foreign ship was captured by Iran, which claimed that the vessel was smuggling fuel, according to a report by the Fars News Agency. One day later, two different British [ships] were seized, but Iran claimed to have released the second. The British were outraged over the seizing of the ships, and just one day earlier Israel pointed to Iranian “aggression” as why the world should take action.

British Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt said on Saturday on Twitter of the situation involving the still-captured Stena Impero ship taken in non-Iranian seas that a UK cabinet meeting “reaffirmed UK desire to de-escalate but confirmed Stena Impero was seized in Omani waters in clear contravention of international law & discussed how [to] secure safety of UK/int shipping in Straits of Hormuz.”

Even before the UK ships were taken on Thursday last week, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was quoted by his office [as] pushing for the world to respond to Iran’s activities.

“The struggle against the Iranian aggression is not just ours, it needs to be the struggle of the entire world,” said Netanyahu. “Today we again saw this aggression expressed in the waters of the Persian Gulf. I would like to remind you that for many years we stood alone in the face of the Iranian aggression. The time has come for the entire enlightened world to understand the severity of the danger from Iran and Hezbollah. The time has come for the entire world to come out against them.”

According to the Fars Report, Iran claimed that the British vessels had violated international naval law, with the crew of the Stena Impero ship still under Iranian control taken back for an investigation.

Germany joined the UK in assailing the Iranian actions, with a Federal Foreign Office spokesman stating in a press release that the German government “condemns the detention of two commercial vessels in the Gulf in the strongest possible terms.” Said the statement, “This is an unjustifiable intervention in civilian shipping that further exacerbates what is already a tense situation.”

The Germans called upon Iran to release the Stena Impero and its crew “without delay.”

“A further escalation in the region would be very dangerous and would also undermine all ongoing efforts to find a way out of the current crisis,” said the German statement. “We stand shoulder to shoulder with our UK partners in this serious situation.”

Israel Hails British PM-elect as “True Friend of Israel”

by Kate Norman

British Prime Minister-elect Boris Johnson and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shake hands at a meeting in London.

Wednesday, 24 July 2019 | Conservative leader Boris Johnson clinched his victory in the race to succeed British Prime Minister Theresa May yesterday and will step into his new role after visiting the queen at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

Johnson was lauded upon his victory by the chairman of the Jewish Agency of Israel as a “true friend of Israel.”

“I trust you will continue working to make the Jewish community feel safe in the UK [United Kingdom] in these challenging times,” chairman Isaac Herzog wrote on Twitter. “Look forward to your ongoing commitment to fostering ties between UK & Israel.”

Johnson’s history regarding Jewish relations is a bit of a hodgepodge. His recent statements are very pro-Israel as the former London mayor describes himself as a Zionist, which is rare in the world of British politicians. He recently proclaimed that “it’s totally unacceptable that innocent Israeli civilians should face the threat of rocket fire and bombardment from Gaza,” but he said earlier in 2014 that Israel’s retaliations to Hamas’s attacks were “ugly and tragic,” according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took to Twitter to congratulate his new counterpart on his victory.

“Heartfelt congratulations from Jerusalem, Boris Johnson. Looking forward to working closely together, both in facing our common challenges and seizing the opportunities ahead.”

The Israeli minister of foreign affairs also tweeted his congratulations to the new leader of Britain’s Conservative Party.

“Mazel tov to Boris Johnson on becoming UK prime minister. I look forward to working with Prime Minister Johnson and his team to build on the existing strong relationship between the UK and Israel.”

Never one to miss an opportunity, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif joined the Twitter gathering with his thoughts.

“The [Theresa] May [government’s] seizure of Iranian oil at behest of US is piracy, pure & simple,” referring to the British seizure of an Iranian-flagged oil tanker earlier this month that was suspected to be heading for Syria in violation of European Union sanctions. The Islamic Republic reciprocated last week by seizing a British-flagged tanker in the same seas in a new tit-for-tat tanker war.

Zarif continued his congratulations with a thinly veiled threat: “I congratulate my former counterpart, Boris Johnson on becoming UK PM. Iran does not seek confrontation. But we have 1,500 miles [2,400 km] of Persian Gulf coastline. These are our waters & we will protect them.”

Israel Foils Bombing Terror Attack

The Leonardo Hotel in Ashdod

Monday, 22 July 2019 | A 20-year-old man from a predominantly Bedouin town in southern Israel planned to blow up a hotel in the city Ashdod, according to an indictment filed by the Southern District Prosecutor’s Office on Sunday.

According to the charges, Adal Abu Hadayb from Rahat, began watching Hamas [the terror group in complete military and civil control of the Gaza Strip] videos and later YouTube clips on how to make homemade explosives sometime in 2018. He later purchased materials with the intention to make a bomb to “harm Jews” at a Leonardo Hotel in Ashdod where he worked as a gardener.

Hadayb apparently later became disenchanted with the terror group due to its policies in the Gaza Strip, which he disapproved of, but he continued to proceed with his initial plan.

In June, the suspect purchased fertilizer at a store in Rahat with the intention to make homemade explosives, but his attempts to build a bomb by mixing fertilizer with sugar and water proved unsuccessful.

In addition, back in 2017 the suspect found a bag with five hand grenades, two stun grenades, a smoke grenade and two tear gas canisters at a garden in the southern town of Yavneh where he was employed at the time.

He’d taken the bag with the explosives back to Rahat and tried to sell them to a minor for NIS 400 (US $113). The grenades were seized by the police after the defendant went back on his decision to sell them.

In another instance, he bought an improvised rifle for NIS 8,000 (US $2,260) and carried out shooting drills.

The State Prosecutor’s Office filed a request for him to remain under arrest until the end of the legal proceedings.

Thank the Lord that Israeli security forces thwarted Adal Abu Hadayb’s intention to harm Jews. Pray that his arrest and conviction will serve as a deterrent to others who would desire to similarly harm the citizens of Israel. Beseech the Lord that somehow some means could be found to prevent You Tube and social media from publishing provocative and inciting materials.

The Hamas–Iran Plan to Eliminate Israel

by Bassam Tawil ~ Gatestone Institute

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Saleh Arouri is a founder of Hamas’s armed wing, Izaddin al-Qassam Brigades, and is responsible for several bloody terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers.

Wednesday, 24 July 2019 | Has Hamas, the Palestinian terror group that rules the Gaza Strip, finally accepted the two-state solution and abandoned its objective to destroy Israel?

The headlines in some Arab media outlets on July 20 created the impression that Hamas has changed its policy and is no longer seeking the annihilation of Israel. More remarkably, the headlines made it seem as if Hamas were presenting a new plan for peace with Israel.

Quoting statements by Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, several Arab media organizations ran headlines implying that the terror group now favors the two-state solution. “Hamas does not oppose the establishment of a [Palestinian] state on the 1967 borders,” the headlines shouted.

Haniyeh reportedly made his statements during a video conference interview with Turkish journalists in Istanbul. The interview was organized by a group called the Palestinian Forum for Communication and Media, which describes itself as an “independent media organization aiming to enhance coordination between Arab and international media organizations to support the Palestinian cause.”

Although the initial impression created by Haniyeh’s statements suggest a dramatic shift in Hamas’s policy—from seeking the destruction of Israel to accepting the two-state solution—it quickly becomes clear from reading the rest of his remarks that there is no change in the terror group’s strategy or ideology.

Haniyeh carefully clarified that accepting a Palestinian state on the pre-1967 “borders” does not mean that Hamas would recognize Israel’s right to exist. “Hamas is not opposed to the establishment of a state on the 1967 borders, but insists on not recognizing the Israeli occupation of the rest of the Palestinian territories,” the Hamas leader is quoted as telling the Turkish journalists.

Haniyeh, to his credit, was more honest that the editors who chose the misleading headlines suggesting that Hamas has accepted the two-state solution.

Listen closely to what Haniyeh was really saying: “If we are offered a Palestinian state next to Israel, we will not say no. While we will take whatever Israel gives us, we will never recognize its right to exist. We will use the state as a launching pad to liberate all Palestine, from the Mediterranean Sea to the Jordan River.”

Haniyeh’s remarks are nothing but a smokescreen, intended, it seems, to deceive the world into thinking that his terror group has softened its position towards Israel and Jews.

Yet, the Hamas leader was quite clear about the terror group’s stance. He even went as far as assuring the Turkish journalists that his movement will never abandon the “armed struggle” against Israel. “We often resort to peaceful and popular resistance [against Israel],” Haniyeh said. “This does not mean, however, that we have given up our armed resistance against Israel.”

For Haniyeh, the weekly demonstrations along the Gaza–Israel border, which are being held in the context of the Hamas-sponsored “Great March of Return,” are “peaceful” and “popular” acts of “resistance.” The protests, which began in March 2018, are anything but “peaceful” and “popular.”

In the Hamas lexicon, launching rocks and arson kites at Israeli farms and villages near the border with the Gaza Strip is defined as “peaceful resistance.”

Although the organizers of the protests have been publicly calling on participants to preserve the “peacefulness” of their weekly demonstrations, Palestinians have repeatedly attempted to infiltrate into Israel by knocking down the security fence along the border or hurling firebombs and explosive devices at Israeli soldiers. They are probably doing that because they do not listen to what their leaders tell them, or because they have lost faith in their leaders and believe that violence is the only way to extract concessions from Israel.

Last Friday, the protests were held under the banner of “The Friday of burning the Zionist flag.” The demonstrators not only burned Israeli flags; they also clashed with Israeli soldiers. Reports from the Gaza Strip said that more than 70 Palestinians were injured during the clashes.

In addition, since the beginning of the protests in March 2018, more than 260 Palestinians have been killed, and thousands injured. The number of Palestinians taking part in the Friday protests finally appears to be declining: many Gazans have apparently reached the conclusion that their leaders are using them to advance their own interests. Since the marches started, Palestinians have seen no improvement in their living conditions.

If you follow Hamas’s logic, it is only a matter of time before the organization declares that firing rockets again and kidnapping Israeli villagers are also “peaceful” and “popular” means of “resistance.” The mainstream media in the West will doubtless continue dutifully to rewrite its definitions.

Hamas’s true intentions were expressed by one of its senior leaders, Fathi Hammad. During a rally near the Gaza–Israel border, he recently said: “There are Jews everywhere. We must attack every Jew on planet Earth! We must slaughter and kill them, with Allah’s help. We will lacerate and tear them to pieces.” He also urged Palestinians to purchase “five-shekel [US $1.40] knives” and “cut the necks of Jews.”

Haniyeh’s statements coincided with a visit to Iran by a senior Hamas delegation. Headed by the Palestinian arch-terrorist Saleh Arouri, the delegation will spend a few days in Tehran for talks with Iranian leaders on ways of strengthening relations between the two sides.

In November 2018, the US Department of State offered a five million dollar reward for information about Arouri, who serves as deputy head of Hamas’s “political bureau.”

Arouri is one of the founders of Hamas’s armed wing, Izaddin al-Qassam Brigades, and is responsible for several bloody terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, including the 2014 kidnapping and murder of three Israeli teenagers in the West Bank [Judea and Samaria].

Notably, Arouri is not traveling to Tehran to discuss with Iranian leaders ways to improve the living conditions of Palestinians in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip. He is wholly preoccupied with how to acquire more weapons and money for killing Jews. It is no coincidence that Hamas chose a commander of its armed wing to head the delegation to Iran. He is going to Tehran to request weapons and funding for terror activities, his special expertise.

The Iranian leaders, for their part, are not about to offer Arouri and his friends cash to construct hospitals and schools in the Gaza Strip. Iran will ensure that its money is earmarked for building more terror tunnels along the Gaza-Israel border and manufacturing rockets that will be used to attack Israel.

Iran’s leaders never tire of reminding everyone of their desire to annihilate Israel. The most recent threat came from a senior Iranian lawmaker, Mojtaba Zolnour, chairman of the Iranian parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission. “If the US attacks us, only half an hour will remain of Israel’s lifespan,” he said.

In another threat earlier this year, the second-in-command of the elite Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that Iran will obliterate Israel if it starts a war, and the Israelis will not even be able to bury their dead. “Our strategy is [to wipe] Israel [off] the world’s political geography and Israel seems to be approaching this reality by its mischiefs,” Brigadier General Hossein Salami told reporters in Tehran. If Israel “does anything that leads to a new war, certainly it will be [the kind of war] that will result in their elimination, and the occupied territories will be retaken. Israelis won’t even have a cemetery in Palestine to bury their corpses.”

In welcoming the Hamas delegation, the leaders of Iran seem to know something that is hidden by misleading headlines: that Hamas remains committed to its goal of destroying Israel.

The Iranian leaders know that Arouri, with his proven record of terrorism and his hands dripping with Jewish blood, is someone Tehran can do business with. Hamas is desperate for cash and weapons. It needs these resources not because it is ready to accept the two-state solution, but in order to prepare for the next war with Israel.

It seems that Arouri is seeking to affirm to his Tehran cash-cow that Hamas is still very much on the same page as they are: eliminating Israel and replacing it with an Iranian-backed terror state.

If the Hamas arch-terrorist succeeds in his mission to secure more funding from Iran, Hamas, Islamic Jihad and other terror groups in the Gaza Strip will most likely ratchet up their terror activities against Israel. The most effective way to stop Hamas from carrying out its plan to “slaughter” every Jew is by increasing international sanctions and other means of pressure on Iran—before it is too late.

IDF is Israel’s Biggest and Most Successful Start-up

by Major General Aviv Kochavi

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The IDF offers opportunities and programs that provide hands-on experience and technological advancement.

Monday, 22 July 2019 | National security is a vital component of a nation’s long term existence with safety and honor.

Military might is not the only aspect of national security, but is undoubtedly a vital and central part of it.

From the day of its inception, the IDF [Israel Defense Forces] defends the country and its people and assists in its development and growth by contributing directly and indirectly to its economy.

Stability and security are the shields that defend the economy and allow its flexibility.

Studies show that a growing sense of security mitigates uncertainty and motivates investments and economic growth.

Furthermore, the IDF itself is one of the country’s central economic growth engines advancing legacy industries as well as technology-based companies that impact Israel’s development across the board, providing jobs and enriching the geographic and social periphery of the country.

But the military’s contribution is not only to the economy. It is to society as well.

The IDF is the biggest start-up in Israel and perhaps in the entire world; a start-up that develops manpower and community using unique methods; an organization that takes in a long line of youngsters from different social groups and provides all of them with equal opportunity for success.

Regardless of background, education, religion or ethnicity and in most cases regardless of gender, soldiers are offered an array of choices for professional and personal growth.

It also discovers in its members’ abilities and talents that were untapped before.

Teamwork, leadership skills and initiative are rewarded and advanced, adding to another unique advantage—self confidence that comes as a result of experiences gained.

The challenges soldiers face develop a pride that stays with these young people when they leave.

A nation of people who have risen to challenges, have overcome difficulties, worked in unity with others, motivated and led their comrades, have enjoyed a constant influx of energy and its importance cannot be understated.

Israel is a leader in innovation thanks to compulsory service in its military.

Almost unintentionally and as a result of the security challenges the country has faced and is still facing, a massive training and leadership program was born.

A program that provides hands on experience and technological advancement with leadership challenges sometimes at personal risk.

Alumni of this program are the resource this country, unlike any other, is blessed with.

Another strength gains from the IDF is social mobility and increased integration of all parts of society.

In the military, social boundaries are blurred as unity is formed to the benefit of the entire country and to the envy of others.

One more advantage that must be noted is the role the IDF plays in promoting a sense of identity with the country and the Jewish values it holds dear.

This is a bastion of our democracy. All are accepted into it and thanked for their service as they leave, better prepared for life in a country they identify with and believe in.

Israel’s existence is conditional on the IDF, while its society, economy and values are dependent on it as well.

Thank the Lord for the positive effect that the IDF has had on the nation of Israel, for the leaders and innovators it has produced and for the opportunities for education and growth it has presented to the young people of the nation. Israel Warns EU Parliament against Serving as a “Platform for Terrorists”

by Joshua Spurlock

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The European Parliament

Tuesday, 23 July 2019 | After hearing that two known members of a Palestinian terrorist organization and supporters of the boycott and sanctions movement against Israel spoke at the European Parliament, Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Gilad Erdan wrote to the parliament’s president to urge him to condemn the terrorists’ invite and ensure it never happens again. “Such unfortunate occurrences must not be allowed to repeat themselves,” wrote Erdan in his letter, which was published on Monday by Israel. “The European Parliament must never be a platform for terrorists.”

In a letter dated July 18, Erdan informed Parliament President David Sassoli that Khaled Barakat and Mohammed Khatib—who had recently spoken in a public event at the European Parliament at the invitation of Spanish Member of European Parliament Manu Pineda—were in fact known members of the “Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine” (PFLP), an EU [European Union]-designated terror group.

Erdan said indications are that Pineda not only knew of the two speakers’ ties to terrorism, but also “in the past has expressed his support for EU-designated terrorist organizations such as the PFLP.” The Israeli official said, “This must raise questions about the appropriateness” of Pineda’s roles in certain European committees, including the Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Saying he was “utterly dismayed” to learn of the terrorist-speaking event, Erdan told Sassoli that Barakat had also been “instrumental” in getting foreign funds to Belgium and in arranging the PFLP courier of the funds military training in Lebanon.

In addition to the two known members of PFLP, they were joined by Barakat’s wife, who runs the organization “Samidoun,” which has ties to the PFLP and backs the efforts for boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) against Israel.

“I also ask that you consider putting in place a robust system to ensure that members of designated terrorist organizations such as the PFLP are not allowed to enter the European Parliament in the future,” wrote Erdan.

The Israeli press release noted that the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs had recently published their “Terrorists in Suits” report that exposes over 100 connections between terrorists and organizations backing BDS. Barakat himself was named in the report, including for recruiting terrorists. The “Terrorists in Suits” report’s conclusions were sent to German Minister of Interior Horst Seehofer, and in late June the Germans banned Barakat’s political activities in Germany and said they would not renew his visa.

Erdan said in his letter to President Sassoli that “Barakat, a PFLP Central Committee member, was recently prohibited by German authorities from speaking at a political event due to his ties to terror… The European Parliament must not be used as a platform for members of murderous terrorist organizations.”

It is reprehensible that the parliament of the European Union would exhibit support for any terrorist organization or member of the BDS movement. Pray that systems will be put in place that will prohibit such speakers from having a platform in the halls of government in the future. Also ask the Lord that the connection between terrorist organizations and the BDS movement will be clearly revealed.

For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is destruction; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue. Pronounce them guilty, O God! Let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.

Report: Syria Benefits from Israeli Drone Technology Sold to Russia

by Udi Etsion

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

A drone used by the IDF

Friday, 19 July 2019 | Drone technology supplied by Israel to the Russian military is now being used by its enemies.

According to a report published Wednesday on the Intercept website, Israeli Defense Forces [IDF] found their own technology used in a Syrian drone they shot down after it had intruded into Israeli airspace in August.

The report goes on to say the drone was of the design sold to the Russians in 2010.

Russia needed to acquire drone technology after a military conflict with the Georgian Republic in which they had managed to shoot down Georgian drones made by Israel.

Enraged that Israeli technology was sold to their adversary and neighbor, Russia, which was planning to supply Syrian President Bashar Assad’s forces with S-300 missile defense batteries, struck a deal with Jerusalem whereby Israeli drones and drone technology would be sold to Russia in exchange for Moscow postponing the supply of the S-300 to Israeli’s enemy.

The Israeli drone, which was renamed “Forpost” by Russia, meant an income of US $400 million to Israel’s defense industry.

In two separate incidents, the Forpost, which is used by Russia in the Syrian civil war to provide the regime and its allies with intelligence, infiltrated across the border into Israel.

The first incident was in 2016 when the UAV [unmanned aerial vehicle] that had infiltrated Israeli’s territory returned to Syria unharmed and the second time, last summer when it was shot down by a Patriot missile.

The report claims the drones were never transferred to the Syrian military or to their ally, the Lebanon based terror group Hezbollah, though intelligence gathered by them was made available to them.

The Intercept notes that the presence of these drones in the area exemplifies the complexities of Israeli and Russian relations in Syria.

The IDF has been conducting ongoing operations in what Jerusalem calls an effort to block Iran and Hezbollah entrenchment on the Syrian Golan Heights posing a direct threat to Israel’s security.

These operations require and receive coordination with the Russian military command in the area to avoid unwanted friction and possible conflict between the respective forces.

Hezbollah has demonstrated in recent years its use of Iranian made drones, but the deployment of Israeli technology by Russian forces in the Syrian arena can result in Israel’s enemies improving their capabilities further.

Arabs Attack Saudi Blogger over Solidarity with Israel

by Daniel Salami

The well-known Saudi blogger Mohammed Saud was attacked in Jerusalem by Arab protesters.

Tuesday, 23 July 2019 | A well-known Saudi blogger was attacked in Jerusalem on Monday by Arab protesters angry at his participation in an event hosted by the Israeli government.

Mohammed Saud, famous for his command of Hebrew, was spat at, had plastic chairs hurled at him and was verbally attacked during a visit to the Temple Mount, holy to both Jews and Muslims.

The Foreign Ministry is this week hosting bloggers and journalists from Arab countries with whom Israel does not have diplomatic relations, such as Saudi Arabia and Iraq.

Saud, who is part of the delegation, was also branded a “Zionist” and called “garbage.” He was told to “pray in the synagogue, not in Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

At one point, one protester tried to physically attack Saud, but he was stopped by others who told him, “Don’t touch him, we are still in Al-Aqsa.”

The footage of the incident shows that Saud did not appear to have been joined by companions, security guards or police.

On Monday, the delegation was in Jerusalem, where they visited the Temple Mount and the Western Wall.

The delegation is expected to visit the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and the Knesset [Israeli Parliament], as well as meet with officials from the Foreign Ministry and academia and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
