US President Donald Trump

Wednesday, December 6th was a momentous and long-awaited day in Jerusalem! When US President Donald Trump made his historic announcement that the United States was formally recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, we all rejoiced! President Trump went a step further and said that America would be moving their embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. As Christians, we pray that many other nations will follow suit in the very near future and make the same decision.

Trump’s speech was not popular with everyone. In fact, there is a very long list of those who are angry and critical of this decision. At this moment in time, I believe it is important to let the President know there are many Bible-believing Christians from all over the world who agree with, respect and applaud his decision.

There are several ways to do this. You can send an email to President Trump via the White House web site (click here). Or, if you prefer Facebook you can send him a comment at (click here).  When you send a Facebook message, use @realDonaldTrump and/or @POTUS or with any of the following hashtags: #WhiteHouse, #realDonaldTrump, #POTUS.

Here is a sample email:

Dear Mr. President,

Your announcement to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and to move the American embassy to Jerusalem was a courageous and bold one. I realize many pressured you against this decision and many will now criticize and attack you for it. Continue to be bold and courageous and know that many people are praying for you, your family and the American cabinet.

Sha’alu Shalom Yerushalayim
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

I sincerely hope you will join me by sending an encouraging message of support to President Trump.
