Day 1 Sat Oct 31 Departure

Depart Toronto to Athens

Meals will be served on board.

Day 2 Sun Nov 1 Athens - Israel

Upon arrival to Athens transfer to your hotel you will get lunch and dinner or have an optional sightseeing tour of Athens. The tour will stop for lunch (Lunch is not included). After the tour transfer to your hotel for a rest and dinner

11:00 pm transfer to the airport to fly to Israel

Day 3 Mon Nov 2 Jerusalem

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport you be met by a Sunworld Tours Representative.

Drive to the Jerusalem and check in to your hotel

Spend some time at Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial, visiting the memorial sites, the museum and the Valley of the Jewish Communities. Continue to Government Hill to see the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament and the Menorah, which is engraved with scenes of the Jewish Nations history. Visit the Israel Museum to see the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed and the Holyland Model of Jerusalem.

In the evening we meet new immigrants and a speaker from Bridges for Peace Israel.

Day 4 Tue Nov 3 Jerusalem

Drive to Mt. Scopus and have the blessing of the bread and wine and enjoy the first glimpse of the City of Jerusalem Drive to Mt. Olives and walk down to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. Visit Mt. Zion to see King David’s Tomb and the Upper Room. Walk through the restored Jewish Quarter to the Western Wall. Visit Davidson Centre to see the Southern Wall Digs. Explore the Old City Alleys and colorful markets. Walk along the “Way of the cross” to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. End the day with a tour and Communion at the Garden Tomb.

Day 5 Wed Nov 4 Dead Sea - Massada

Visit the Bridges for Peace food Bank. Travel down the Jordan Valley to the Dead Sea Area. Stop at Genesis Land for light lunch and camel ride. Continue to Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where discovered. Visit Massada, the fortress built by King Herod. Ride the cable car to the top to explore the Massada. Take a dip in the therapeutic, salt mineral water of the Dead Sea.

Day 6 Thu Nov 5 Dead Sea - Sea of Galilee

Depart the Dead Sea and drive along the Jordan Valley to Bet She'an to tour the extensive, ongoing archeological excavations, a Roman Decapolis city built on ancient remains which figured prominently during the reign of King Saul. Visit Megiddo, where the books of Daniel and Revelation will come alive as we study about the final battle of Armageddon.

Drive through the Galilee via Nazareth and Cana.

Day 7 Fri Nov 6 Sea of Galilee

Enjoy a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee and visit the Boat Museum. Visit Capernaum where we will see the remains of Peter’s house and where Jesus chose to center His ministry. Visit the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. End the day at the Yardenit.

Day 8 Sat Nov 7 Golan Heights - Galilee

Travel up to the Golan Heights for a view from Mount Bental Bunker. Travel to Banias and Banias Falls, site of the

Ancient Caesarea Philippi. Have a security briefing along the Northern border and Kiryat Shmona.

Overnight at a Kibbutz Hotel in the Sea of Galilee area

Day 9 Sun Nov 8 Galilee – Jerusalem

Drive to Mt. Carmel to visit the Muhraqa, which commemorates the battle of Elijah with the prophets of Baal. Drive along the ancient “Way of the Sea", along the Mediterranean to explore the Port city of Caesarea, the Roman Capital of Israel. Drive to Jerusalem to attend the King of Kings Service.

Have a Farewell dinner tonight.
