Bridges for Peace IN ACTION
YESHUA (JESUS) WAS TEACHING THE MULTITUDE and suddenly He stopped and said, “I feel compassion for the multitude because they have remained with Me now three days, and have nothing to eat” (Mark 8:2). He goes on to perform an amazing miracle in which 4,000 men (plus women and children) are fed with seven loaves of bread and a few small fish. There are several accounts of the feeding of the 5,000 and the 4,000 in the Gospels. Each time, Yeshua is concerned with the people’s need for food. He doesn’t send them away hungry. He feeds them.

The United States and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, appear to be on a collision course over the issue of Jerusalem. The US is demanding Israel make concessions on Jerusalem before peace talks resume, with Netanyahu publicly hinting he will refuse to do so. According to an article in The Washington Post, the US is calling upon Netanyahu to rescind approval for 1,600 housing units in East Jerusalem that led to the diplomatic tension between the two allies.
